About Us

Tonda and Joe Jeffcoat have combined their talents and love of clay in the creation of functional pottery for over 30 years.  Tonda, an art educator, and Joe, a retired banker with BB&T, graduated from Atlantic Christian College and continued their study of pottery in the initial ceramics class at Wilson Technical Institute in 1974.  Study with Susan and Lanny Pelletier, Hiroshi Sueyoshi, and Frank Byrd provided the critical fundamentals which have allowed them to develop their own, personal style.  Their association and friendship with Dan Finch at Finch Pottery has played a major role in their continued growth as potters.

Works are available for sale directly from the Jeffcoats as well as crafts fairs throughout the year, galleries and retailers.
